Olympus Has Fallen 2013
Plot
When the White House (Secret Service Code: "Olympus") is captured by a terrorist mastermind and the President is kidnapped, disgraced former Presidential guard Mike Banning finds himself trapped within the building. As the national security team scrambles to respond, they are forced to rely on Banning's inside knowledge to help retake the White House, save the President and avert an even bigger disaster.

What to say about a movie like Olympus has fallen? <br />As far as director goes, I have to say I enjoyed some of Fuqua's movies. But while Training day or King Arthur were beautifuly crafted, this one was just over the top. <br />The villain of the movie was just 'blah', even someone like Rick Yune could not make him really believable. <br />Gerard was of course the lone-wolf hero and was actually really BAMF. I'm not particulary fond of Aaron Eckhart so no surprise there. Freeman did not dissapoint, even in a role that is really far below his level. <br />Usually I really like this action type movies and grading it soley on action, it gets the high score I gave it. <br />There were some times I had a question mark above my head. I mean ... seriously ... how did an unmarked airplane get so close to the White house? <br />All in all, it's a popcorn movie. And in the end, I liked it. <br /> <br />-English is not my first language. It's not even my second one.-
