Best comedy in a long time. You get what you expect - which is a non logical blockbuster action movie

I loved the Die Hard series since its beginning in 88' and was really looking forward to the fifth instalment, but this one was a real disappointment. I rated it 6, only for the action scenes that weren't really bad.
I don't even know where to start.
The movie doesn't make any sense. The dialogue seems forced (there is no 'figure out what is going on' only the 'I'm too old for this shit/I'm on vacation' quips) and the father/son scenes are just cringe worthy.
Who is the Russian guy and what the heck is wrong with his daughter? Instead of being a good villan she just looks insane.
And to top it all - the movie is supposedly happening in Moscow, and then it moves to Chernobyl. Somehow they seem to forget that Chernobyl is not in Russia but in Ukraine, there is a border in between, and it's a 16 hours drive by car (the bad guys have a helicopter).
On the plus side - there is some good acting, a lot of shooting, some quips are really funny and there are some good action scenes (I'm not including the car chase - for a good one check the Live free or die hard).
If you haven't seen the first four movies in the series you might like this one, as a no brainer action movie. But I urge you to see the others, so you'll see what good action movies look like.

-English is not my first language. It's not even my second one.-
